Kelley Baughman is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte with a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling in May 2018. She received a BA in Applied Psychology from North Carolina State University in May 2009. Her clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds in residential and outpatient settings to address a range of life concerns and mental health diagnoses, including chronic illness, grief, loss, and life transitions.
She is passionate about walking alongside clients on their unique life journey while supporting and encouraging them to meet their goals. Viewing the whole person, Kelley aims to empower clients by not just focusing on the problem, but on the entirety of the individual and their environment. She utilizes a variety of counseling approaches to meet the needs of her clients, including evidenced-based therapies of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has completed an externship for Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy through EFT Tennessee. She also has experience in integrating the Christian faith in the counseling setting at the client’s request. Kelley believes it is a privilege and honor to help clients understand themselves and their world to live more authentically!
Kelley has called Raleigh home since 2005 and loves participating in all the Capitol City has to offer. She is married and has two young kids. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, cooking, playing games, listening to music, and watching comedies.
