Sallie RatcliffeSallie Ratcliffe is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Career Counseling in May 2022. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University (2018). Sallie has experience working with preschool children, adolescents, and young adults around a variety of concerns including mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, stress, anxiety and depression.

It has been demonstrated that the therapeutic relationship is the number one predictor of counseling outcomes. Sallie’s goal is to create a comfortable space, offer clients techniques and skills to build on, and work together to challenge beliefs, patterns, and thoughts.

She utilizes an eclectic counseling approach, relying heavily on a person-centered approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strength-based, and behavioral counseling approaches. These are well-established, researched, and respected therapies. Sallie wants clients to know that sessions are about what works best for each person, and she is receptive to your feedback.
